We will start with the exterior of this model 48. As you walk around it you'll notice that the fit and finish of all of the panels is some of the best you'll see and that down the sides are straight with all of the gaps being even and symmetrical as well. This Buick is showcased in the colonial blue paint scheme which is the factory option for it. We can see that it's been kept polished to a beautiful finish and really does a good job of showing off all the classic styling that Buick brought to the table in 1958. One of the most iconic features is up front with the grill that you can see has a brilliant finish along with all the Chrome and stainless accents here on the front as well. The front bumper is in excellent condition and out back we can see that the rear bumper is equally impressive. The side trim flows together seamlessly from the front to the back. All the glass and this Buick is in excellent condition as well along with the seals and weather stripping and all the side glass goes up and down with ease. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on the stock steel wheels with factory hubcaps and white line tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this 58. On the inside it's done in the 2-tone blue and light blue color scheme that provides the perfect complement to the colonial blue exterior. Most of this interior appears to be original and is in phenomenal condition. It has had a new carpet kit installed and some of the dash components have been redone as well. It still sports the original headliner that shows some light stains from aging but it's still in excellent condition. This 58 features the front and rear bench seats that are in phenomenal condition. Looking at the dash we can see that it is equally impressive as the rest of vehicle as it sports some timeless styling while also being beautifully done. The factory gauges all appear to be working as they should, and it even has the speed indicator that is still working as well. Inside the trunk we can see that the weather stripping has been replaced. We can also say that it still has the factory surrounds and trunk mat along with having despair and Jack.
Finally, we will get to the drive line of this Buick. Under the hood we can say that the inner fenders and firewall are all solid and then it still has the factory trim tag. The radiator support is in excellent condition as well, along with the battery tray. This model 58 special is powered by the 364V8 engine that is detailed out in the factory colors along with having the painted valve covers and factory air cleaner. The 364 goes through the automatic transmission and Outback through the stock rear end. For breaks it has drums on all four corners, and for steering it has the standard manual option. When we look underneath it, we can see that all the original floor pans are in phenomenal condition along with the frame. It has the stock manifolds and why pop with new pipe and muffler from their back. On the highway this Buick special runs out and drives phenomenal. It handles with ease and turns heads everywhere it goes. You won't want to miss out on your chance to cruise off in this one.
