About the 1985 Pontiac Firebird

The third generation of the Pontiac Firebird was produced from 1982 to 1992. It represented a significant departure from the previous generation, featuring a more aerodynamic and modern design. This era of the Firebird is often referred to as the "aero" generation.

Introduced in 1982, the third-gen Firebird featured a sleeker and more streamlined appearance, with a wrap-around rear window and a sloping nose. This design was aimed at improving aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, reflecting the changing automotive landscape of the 1980s.
