1923 Ford T-Bucket T-Bucket

Description:

1923 Ford T-Bucket

VIN: 1831851

Model Ts were hot-rodded and customized from the 1920s on, but the T-bucket was specifically created and named by Norm Grabowski in the 1950s. A genuine T-bucket has the two-seater body of a Model T roadster (with or without the turtle deck or small pickup box), this "bucket"-shaped body shell giving the cars their name.

Today, T-buckets remain common. They generally feature an enormous engine for the size and weight of the car, generally a V8, along with tough drivetrains to handle the power and large rear tires to apply that power to the road.

Mechanical: This striking red 1923 Ford T-Bucket is sporting it's original Turbo 350 V8 Chevy Engine and automatic transmission. A new battery has been installed along with a new ignition switch. A new starter was also installed, states the seller, along with a new ground cable. The Power Off Switch is located in the rear. Edelbrock High Rise Manifold covers, Edelbrock carburetor, Stainless Steel firewall, Fan Shroud and Headers. The Electric Fuel Pump is located on the passenger side of the vehicle and the Fuel Cell holds12 gallons.

Body/Paint: The T-Bucket is an all Fiberglass body with no doors and with the top off, it allows for easy access. It's unknow if there was a re-painting of the T-Bucket.

Suspension: The Chrome suspension components grab your attention along with the 29x15.50-15LT Mickey Thompson's on the rear and the Sprint Classic 165-HR15-86 H Vredestein's on the front, all on Weld Racing Rims. Don't forget the Power Brakes and Power Steering. All sitting on a custom made Box frame. Disc Brakes in the front and Drum's in the rear.

Components: All components are in working order, except the fuel gauge, states the Seller

The car originally came from Texas reports the Seller and now it's ready for it's new home.

THIS VEHICLE TO BE COLLECTED FROM HERMOSA, SOUTH DAKOTA.

The Car has been consigned to the 9th Annual Salt Lake City Classic Car Auction.
