Universal Muscle Cars is proud to offer! 1972 CHRVROLT ELCAMINO RESTO-MOD
We just got this super nice 1972 El Camino Resto-mod in on trade from a longtime customer and now friend who built this car over several years. We did some of the build here at our shop, so we have known of this car for quit sometime and figured that we would own it one day. Well, that day arrived as he had to have a killer Resto-Mod 70 Chevelle SS454 that we over the top built. Anyway, this is a really nice, very well done Elky that runs, rides and drives as nice as it looks. CHECK IT OUT !!!
The body is straight, solid and clean including the floors, bed and frame and the Diamond Black base/clear paint has a deep luster and show car shine! We just compounded and polished and treated it to a 1-year ceramic coating to protect the shine. It is absolutely gorgeous! It also has like new chrome, trim and weather stripping too.
The black Bench seat interior was restored at some point and still looks new. The seat was covered in glove leather to resemble the factory seat cover and the carpets, door panels and headliner are in like new condition too. It is all VERY-VERY NICE!
Power comes from a recently installed professionally built aluminum head 383 c.i. 400+ h.p. Stroker motor that sounds awesome and runs super strong. It has a new MSD ignition system, a new Brawler 750 df/dp 4 bbl. carb, big tube headers with new Flow-Master mufflers and a CVF serpentine pulley system and that is just to name a few of its features. All of this is backed up by a smooth shifting Muncie M21 4 speed transmission with Hurst Super Competition Plus shifter and a 10 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:36 gears.
Other features include power steering, Wilwood power disc brakes (front only) with crossed drilled rotors, cold Vintage Gen IV Air Conditioning, Dakota Digital VHX gauge cluster, Aluminum radiator with electric fans (runs super cool) Resto-Sound Blue-tooth stereo with amps and sub woofers, 15Boss 5 spoke wheels and a whole lot more!
This El Camino Resto-Mod is very nice and very well done. It runs extremely strong, drives extremely tight and looks awesome too! It definitely Walks the Walk and Talks the Talk DON'T MISS IT !!
