About the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette

The seventh generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, known as the C7 Corvette, was produced from 2014 to 2019. It represented a revolutionary shift in design and performance, bringing the Corvette to new heights in terms of technology, handling, and overall driving experience.

Introduced in 2014, the C7 Corvette featured a completely redesigned exterior with a more aggressive and aerodynamic look. It introduced distinctive LED headlights and taillights, giving the Corvette a modern and futuristic appearance.

Under the hood, the C7 Corvette debuted with the new LT1 engine, a 6.2-liter V8, which offered even more horsepower and torque compared to its predecessor. The LT1 engine was also equipped with direct fuel injection and cylinder deactivation technology, improving both performance and fuel efficiency.

In 2020, Chevrolet introduced the eighth generation of the Corvette, known as the C8 Corvette, which became a mid-engine sports car for the first time in its history.

It represents the culmination of decades of Corvette engineering and continues to be celebrated as a high-performance sports car that showcases American automotive innovation and technology.
