At the top of that grille, a shaved header leads a familiar Stinger Hood, which fronts a filled cowl that's capped with polished wipers. One of the coolest crate engines Chevrolet offers, this legendary big block utilizes proven GM technology to mix miles of thrills with years of reliable cruising. A custom, color-keyed air cleaner shrouds a Lokar-controlled Edelbrock 4-barrel. That carb fuels a polished Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, which floods aluminum Chevrolet heads. Those heads tilt custom, color-keyed valve covers between polished breathers and loomed Taylor plug wires. Coated Patriot Clippster headers crawl around a body-matched block that's aligned with a body-matched fuel pump and a Powermaster XS Torque starter. Polished March serpentine components spin modern power steering beneath a polished AC compressor and a polished Tuff Stuff alternator. A customized core support strings a painted Griffin radiator in front of big SPAL puller fans. Choice details include billet Eddie Motorsports hood supports and a proven Wilwood master cylinder. Those components get pushed by a 9-inch axle that's finished with 3.89 gears and Currie 31-spline axles. Shifts get dealt by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission that was sourced directly from the pros at Transmissions To Go. Turns are tight thanks to power rack-and-pinion steering. Stops are provided by polished Wilwood calipers, which squeeze a total of 20 pistons around 12 and 13-inch drilled and slotted rotors. Spent gases float from the aforementioned headers to either electronic cutouts or custom, large-diameter pipes that traverse deep Hooker Maximum Flow mufflers. And this Chevy sits low and mean on polished Intro Auroras, which spin 225/40ZR18 Hankook Ventus V12s in front of 305/30ZR19 Hankook Ventus V12s.
